Homeschoolers, explore the way things can transform in science at Kidspace! Observe physical and chemical transformations in science and the effects of low and high pressure air flow with the Awe!mazing Science program. Program fee is $14, which includes admission for one student and one adult into the museum for the whole day and the program at 1:00pm.

General admission is valid all day. The Discovery Program is at 1:00pm and is included in the $14 admission (one child per $14 admission).

Music, Motion, & Math - Shapes
This winter session will focus on skills that build our understanding of geometry through shapes, size, and positioning.
Learn pour painting techniques in this art form that brings out your inner artist and mad scientist. Teams comprised of one grown-up and one child, will practice the skills to make a puddle pour and a cup pour painting. Love your painting and want to share it with others? Put your artwork on display during ArtNight Pasadena in our pop-up Art Gallery! Fee is $35.00 per pair for workshop and materials.

What is a paleontologist and what exactly do they do? Come find out with us this summer! We'll explore what paleontologists do, where they work, and what tools they use while searching for fossils. We'll dig deeper into how a fossil is made, the different types of fossils, and what information paleontologists can learn from them.

This summer, we will explore energy, force, and motion to see how they affect things we do every day. We will look at who discovered these concepts, how they influence the activities we love like sports and dance, and how athletes use them to their advantage.

Experience how art began! This summer we will explore how art has changed since the Stone Age through the Middle Ages. We will look at how nature and science have influenced art around the world. We will use the mediums and techniques of ancient artists. From cave paintings and pyraminds to building arches and making mosaics; we'll explore the eyes of the artists who came before us.

Join us for a week of puppets and play with Kidspace and the Bob Baker Marionette Theater! Campers will enjoy live performances, learn how to construct and perform with puppets, and work together to create a show that will be presented in the Kidspace Stone Hollow Amphitheater on the final day of camp. This camp is presented in partnership with Bob Baker Marionette Theater and their ongoing mission to educate, celebrate, and rejuvenate puppetry and the allied arts.

This year is the 50th anniversay of the Apollo 11 moon landing! Come join us in taking a closer look at our moon and how our astronauts got there. We'll learn about what a shuttle needs to escape Earth's gravitational pull, take a closer look at the moon's surface and simulate our own mission control and moon landing!
